First Solar, industry leader in solar modules, has recently quoted that they will not be able to meet demand this year. They are postponing projects in the US to meet demands in Europe.
Other big producers Suntech, Yingli, and Trina have also signalled that were also sold out.
The strong markets for solar modules include United States, Middle East, Africa, China, and India.
In Europe, with Germany & Spain cutting subsidies, focus has shifted to France, UK and eastern European countries.
Do we see Indian solar module manufacturers smiling?
Meanwhile it would be interesting to analyse standing of Indian module manufacturers against that of Chinese manufacturers.
