Update on proposed cut in solar incentives in Germany

Looks like Germany’s Bundesrat upper house voted against cuts to solar incentives and called for a parliamentary mediation committee to resolve the matter.

The proposed cuts, which include a 16 percent reduction in so-called feed-in tariffs for new rooftop solar installations, will therefore not be able to take effect on July 1, as planned.

Indian solar module exporters would be keeping fingers crossed.
