Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Cleantech Startups

Sharing some news/updates for friends from the Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Cleantech Startups in India:

 

1. An American venture fund is open to look at cleantech startups with proven concept. Large grid connected renewable energy projects are discouraged but new innovation, new technology, service concepts are welcome.

2. Climate Technology Initiative – Private Financing Advisory Network (CTI PFAN) is implementing an initiative to present promising clean energy projects from India to interested Investors. This initiative actively seeks innovative projects that are financially viable, socially responsible and environmentally beneficial.

This initiative is sponsored by Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP), the Climate Technology Initiative (CTI) and its Private Financing Advisory Network (CTI PFAN), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID),the International Centre for Environmental Technology Transfer (ICETT), and is co-organized by Dawn Consulting and PPL International, with support from CII – Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre.

CTI PFAN-India is now accepting proposals and project proposal should be sent toindia@cti-pfan.net by midnight (Japan Time) on Friday, 28th June 2013.
